House Prices Increased in January
According to the Nationwide building society; annual house prices growth has increased for the start of the new year. In December 2017 the annual growth rate was 2.6% but in January 2018 that rate had increased to 3.2%. This change surprised the chief economist of the Nationwide building society as they saw signs of “weakening consumer activity elsewhere”.
